Mae Cardiau’r Dderwen yn casglu gwybodaeth bersonol sy’n ymwneud â’i gwsmeriaid er mwyn gallu danfon y cardiau a brynir ganddynt drwy wefan y cwmni. Mae’r cwmni wedi ymrwymo i gasglu a chadw’r wybodaeth yn ofalus ac i fodloni ei rwymedigaethau o ran diogelu data.

Cardiau’r Dderwen collects personal data relating to its customers in order to be able to deliver the cards that they buy via the company website. The company is committed to taking great care in collecting and storing the personal data and in fulfilling its obligations with regard to data protection.

 

What personal data does the company collect and hold?

The personal data collected by the company about you includes your name, address and contact details (i.e. your email address and telephone number). The company collects this information via its website when you register as a customer or order cards without registering.

 

The information is stored securely on a server in accordance with arrangements managed by a professional web designer. The website software is updated regularly by the web designer to ensure that the website continues to satisfy security standards.

 

All customers who place orders via the website pay for their cards via Paypal. The company does not have access to Paypal account details.

 

When registering, you create a password which the company cannot access.

 

Why does the company collect personal data?

The company needs to collect personal data in order to be able to deliver cards ordered by customers via the website.

 

Who has access to the personal data?

Your personal data will not be shared with any third parties and will not be used for marketing purposes. It is collected purely to enable the company to process orders and deliver cards to its customers, or to contact you if a problem arises whilst processing your order.

 

How does the company protect personal data?

The company takes the security of your personal data very seriously. The company has internal controls in place to ensure that your data is not lost nor misused nor accidentally disclosed, and is not accessed by any third parties.

 

For how long does the company keep personal data?

The company will hold records of orders (including the personal data listed above) to enable it to track purchasing trends and measure customer retention rates. It will not share personal data with any third parties.
